Horsetooth Reservoir Colorado Engagement Photos

Britany and Nick both work in the medical field. Britany is obsessed with elephants and one day Nick took her to the zoo for a private behind the scenes meeting with, you guessed it, elephants. The elephant did a painting with its trunk, splashing paint on a paper held by the zoo employees. When he was done, the staff turned the paper around where Britany could read the words “WILL YOU MARRY ME”?

She turned around to Nick kneeling down with a ring in his hand.

They showed me the video when we were on our engagement shoot at Horsetooth Reservoir and I full on cried. It was the absolute sweetest. She couldn’t even get the word yes out, she just stuck the ring right on her finger.

The engagement photos turned out pretty awesome too. And we had so much fun hiking around the trail and getting cozy together. I loved this spot overlooking the reservoir. I even snagged my first selfie with a couple while on location! Enjoy!
