Aerial Photography: A New Venture

It official! I've gotten a camera drone. And my excitement is too great to not share it with everyone! And I'm so pumped to share that I can now do aerial photography at your wedding! Whether you want an over sweeping view of the ceremony, or some amazing couples photos from a higher vantage point, I can now deliver. Say hello to my new DJI Mavic Pro!

As an added bonus, I might even take some video to share with your friends and family of your amazing wedding day. :)

5 Best Locations to Get Married at in Denver

I love Denver, Colorado. So much so that my husband and I moved near there. I have some amazing friends there and I've been to visit multiple times. Since I've traveled around quite a bit here, I thought it would be awesome to give you some ideas for the best places to get married in Denver. So without further ado, here are my picks for the best wedding venues in Denver:

1. Red Rocks

The Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater is one of the more popular places to get married in Denver, CO. It has the amazing beauty of the rock formations and excellent staff to help your day go splendidly. It's perfect for that intimate breathtaking view.

2. Moss Denver

Moss Denver is one of my favorite downtown Denver wedding locations for the urban bride. Think loft style with brick, open ceilings, and concrete floors. It houses at most 200 guests which I think is the perfect size.

3. Denver Botanical Gardens - York Street

If you're more into the floral and fauna locations, look no further than the Denver Botanical Gardens. The location on York Street offers lush gardens as the background to your wedding. I have friends who love that garden atmosphere, so I recommended this for their wedding venue.

4. Church Ranch Event Center

The Church Ranch and Event Center has everything you could ever need to setup the best wedding ever. Their staff and vendors are the best: completely organized without the Bride needing to plan too much. It has a stunning location that makes for some excellent photos too!

5. Shupe Homestead

Last but certainly not least, the Shupe Homestead is perfect for the rustic Bride in you. Mountain views, amazing barns, and a setting in the country are the perfect venue descriptions to get the country Brides out there!

I hope this helps you find the right place in Denver to get married. If you have any suggestions, please comment below! I'm always on the lookout for new places to suggest to my Brides.

LA Arboretum Rose Garden Wedding | Ryan + Danielle

The day started with a heat warning, and we were all a little bit worried about the ceremony in the Rose Garden of the LA Arboretum. But we all kept our cool (see what I did there?) and continued to forge ahead and hope the location wouldn't be too hot. Ryan and Danielle were a picture of romance and happiness. And I think you'll agree after seeing these photos, they are a stunning pair. I'm pretty sure her wedding dress was everything I've ever wanted to see in a bridal gown. The colors, the details, everything was simply stunning.

Introducing: Gift Cards

Sometimes family and friends want to gift you with cash or gift cards toward useful items. I know I always get excited with gift cards to Target (I just go buy all the post it notes I can find)! So I've decided to now offer gift cards to photography!

You can choose to use the gift cards toward your total wedding package, to prints and albums, or toward a portrait session.

Think about it, if everyone pitched in to buy you gift cards, the photography package could wind up not costing you a thing!
