Park Church Denver Wedding | Mykelti + Tyler

When Mykelti first contacted me, I had no idea what Park Church was about. But this beautiful little church had some amazing natural lighting. I also didn’t meet these two until wedding day but I have to say, we clicked and hit it off right away. They were a dream to photograph and I was able to capture one of the most stunning bridal portraits I’ve ever done.

I hope you enjoyed this Park Church Denver Wedding. Here are some of the vendors:

Chicago Destination Wedding | The Joinery

Nick and Carlene are the most beautiful people I’ve ever met, both inside and out. After shooting their engagement session in the mountains surrounding Crested Butte, we joined them for dinner. We became friends. I cannot tell you how giddy I was when they contacted me to do their wedding….IN CHICAGO! It was the best day I’ve had in years. Hanging out with amazing people all day and taking their beautiful wedding portraits. Chicago is an amazing city to get married in.

Venue: The Joinery

Location: Milton Lee Olive Park

Evergreen CO Intimate Elopement | Elk Meadow Park

A trip down to Evergreen, Colorado turned into a beautiful intimate moment between two people, my camera, and an adorable baby. Morgan and Kieran have an amazing budding family, and wanted to get married in a simple, beautiful and quiet setting. Get away, escape, and elope my friends.

I hope you enjoyed this elopement wedding in Evergreen.

Where To Get Married in New Zealand

Tick question. EVERYWHERE! I absolutely love New Zealand. Josh and I went there for our honeymoon and it was amazing. While we stuck mainly in the South Island, I cannot wait to see the North Island some day. But New Zealand is an excellent idea for an adventurous destination wedding or elopement. This is for my outdoorsy couples.

I honestly don't know where to begin because there are so many amazing places in New Zealand. But one of our favorite cities in the south island was Queenstown. Queenstown is an adorable little city nestled in the mountains. It's a ski and winter sport destination for sure. The winter weddings here are so magnificent and dramatic. It makes a great starting point for locations to get married. It's also one of the more popular destination locations to get married.

The great thing about New Zealand is that you can hop in a car, drive an hour out of any city, and find some amazing landscapes. It constantly makes you want to stop the car and get out for photos. A hard location to get to, you might love a small elopement in Milford Sound on some kayaks. Be wary that sometimes depending on weather, the kayaking can be canceled. This is definitely something you want to research the right season for.

I personally loved some of the smaller towns such as Te Anau which is a cute little spot nestled next to a large lake. We stayed at a rustic little place outside of Te Anau in a town called Manapouri. Watching my husband try his hand at chopping wood for the fire was a cozy romantic part of our adventures.

Let me know what locations you're thinking about to get married in New Zealand! Or even better, show me where you got married in this awesome country. :)

I LOVE New Zealand. If you plan to get married there, let's chat! Or check out my Destination Wedding FAQs.

5 Best Locations to Get Married at in Denver

I love Denver, Colorado. So much so that my husband and I moved near there. I have some amazing friends there and I've been to visit multiple times. Since I've traveled around quite a bit here, I thought it would be awesome to give you some ideas for the best places to get married in Denver. So without further ado, here are my picks for the best wedding venues in Denver:

1. Red Rocks

The Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater is one of the more popular places to get married in Denver, CO. It has the amazing beauty of the rock formations and excellent staff to help your day go splendidly. It's perfect for that intimate breathtaking view.

2. Moss Denver

Moss Denver is one of my favorite downtown Denver wedding locations for the urban bride. Think loft style with brick, open ceilings, and concrete floors. It houses at most 200 guests which I think is the perfect size.

3. Denver Botanical Gardens - York Street

If you're more into the floral and fauna locations, look no further than the Denver Botanical Gardens. The location on York Street offers lush gardens as the background to your wedding. I have friends who love that garden atmosphere, so I recommended this for their wedding venue.

4. Church Ranch Event Center

The Church Ranch and Event Center has everything you could ever need to setup the best wedding ever. Their staff and vendors are the best: completely organized without the Bride needing to plan too much. It has a stunning location that makes for some excellent photos too!

5. Shupe Homestead

Last but certainly not least, the Shupe Homestead is perfect for the rustic Bride in you. Mountain views, amazing barns, and a setting in the country are the perfect venue descriptions to get the country Brides out there!

I hope this helps you find the right place in Denver to get married. If you have any suggestions, please comment below! I'm always on the lookout for new places to suggest to my Brides.
