The sun was setting fast, the trail was muddy and we were running short on time. But a quick 30 minutes later and I had gone through a super inspired shotgun photography session at Eagles Nest Open Space with Jenn and Jake. It was so much fun and even though it was short, felt like we connected for a lifetime. Check out the epic scenery!
We were invited by a friend to go capture a concert by A-Mac and the Height at the Aggie Theater in downtown Fort Collins. It was a super fun time and we got to try out a different style of photography than usual.
My good friends Tessa and Brent are back. This time we drove up to Estes Park Colorado and did a mock engagement photo session at The Stanley Hotel. It was magical. We were running a bit late since we spent some (maybe a lot) of time at the amazing bar sipping whiskey and talking about ghosts. So the sun went down but we still got some amazingly dreamy like photos.
She also borrowed my dress and looks better in it!
I hope you enjoyed this mock engagement photoshoot at The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO. Keep dreaming about mountains.
When Mykelti first contacted me, I had no idea what Park Church was about. But this beautiful little church had some amazing natural lighting. I also didn’t meet these two until wedding day but I have to say, we clicked and hit it off right away. They were a dream to photograph and I was able to capture one of the most stunning bridal portraits I’ve ever done.
While I was in Atlanta, my closest friends needed headshots and some fun photos. So of course I said yes! We met at Ponce City Market and had lunch, hung out, and grabbed some awesome photos. Love you guys!
One of the reasons I love doing this, is that I get to meet some amazing people. On this day I dragged my husband up into the mountains for the engagement session of Liam and Whitney at their house near Black Hawk, Colorado. After the gorgeous session below, taken in their own neighborhood, we sat for drinks, snacks, and awesome conversation. We wound up talking for close to five hours, well into the night. Whitney rescues chickens, their pets are family, and we learned about global warming from a scientist. It was so much fun that we promised to come up the next weekend with our pup and spend the night. Stick around to the end of the post, because I wound up revealing the session to them and took a video of their reactions.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this engagement session in Black Hawk, Colorado.
And as promised, below is the video I took of their reveal. I created a slideshow for them to watch.
